Brief History

In 1992, members of the Texas AgriWomen and the Texas Cattlewomen organizations,
Alice Wiemers and Hazel Graff both of Hondo, shared the Ag Science Fair concept with
Texas AgriFood Master Volunteers in San Antonio.Today, a long list of agricultural food
industries have teamed up to make "Agriculture Come Alive" on school campuses
across Texas.  YOU CAN TOO!

Using key community contacts such as your county Extension office, county Farm
Bureau, the USDA, the Natural Resource Conservation Service and other agriculture organizations and businesses along with this Ag Science Fair guide, you can plan and   implement an Ag Science Fair in your community.  Just simply click on the topics found
